Migrating a nonprofit website from WordPress to Squarespace for easier management, better performance, and lower ongoing costs.
Founded by well-known Miami entrepreneur and community advocate Philippe Houdard, Developing Minds Foundation needed a more efficient digital platform to support its programs, fundraising, and ongoing communications.
Its existing WordPress website had become difficult and costly to maintain, with security vulnerabilities, slow load times, a cumbersome editing process, and an outdated user experience. SPRK identified a cost-effective Squarespace migration as the right solution, allowing the foundation to address these challenges without investing in a full redesign.
We selected a template that worked seamlessly with the existing content and brand, migrated and reorganized the website within a compressed timeline, vectorized the organization’s logo when editable artwork was unavailable, and configured the platform to simplify online donations, program updates, foundation news, and SEO-focused blog publishing.
The result is a cleaner, faster, and easier-to-manage Squarespace nonprofit website that solves the foundation’s core operational challenges while giving the team greater control over content, fundraising, and future growth.
